Katie + Kevin

Katie and Kevin met on October 12, 2008. I know because I was there, it was at my wedding. My wife had this plot, she thought Kevin and Katie might just hit it off, and she wanted to be sure they were introduced, and she knew they would both be at our wedding. They started dating, it got more and more serious, and almost 3 years later I am at their wedding taking pictures.

It was a lovely day, the reception was in Katie’s Parents’ backyard. Katie worked on all the little details, and everything looked perfect! Katie and Kevin, we are so happy for you, wishing you all the best!

Lauren + Duayne

Lauren and Duayne were married at St Mary’s Church in New Haven, CT. It was a gorgeous day for a wedding and we had a great time taking photos at the Eli Whitney Museum and East Rock Park. Seeing how they look at each other it is clear they will be together forever. Wishing you many happy years!

I loved the image of Duayne pushing Lauren on the swing – its so original and unique!

Katie + Seth

I first met Katie 10 years ago. We became fast friends and have stayed in touch ever since. There have been long times between talking sometimes, but we have always picked up right where we left off. When she brought this guy Seth to my wedding 2 years ago I could see a spark. They were introduced by a mutual friend Tom, who thought they might make a good match. However, the first time Seth and Katie met in person at the Black Cat in DC, Seth was wearing his “Paris pants” and sporting a large Afro, so Katie was a little unsure. Seth, in his wisdom and persistence, quickly won Katie over. (It also helped that he got a super-cute haircut and ditched the Paris pants.) In no time at all, they were inseparable.

Seth surprised Katie in October 2010 with a gorgeous star-sapphire engagement ring and sincere wishes during a mid-day coffee break at Hains Point park in DC, witnessed by a pair of mallard ducks along the Potomac River.

Katie called to tell me the news and asked if I would be their wedding photographer. I was honored to be there and capture this perfect day in photos. Enjoy!

Tony, you were an amazing photographer and I’ve already gotten lots of “oohs and ahhhs” on your skills when I shared your photos with colleagues at work :) THANK YOU!!!

Betsy + Justin

Last weekend I was honored to photograph the wedding of my sister-in-law Betsy. She and her now husband started dating shortly after graduating from high school. Their ceremony was scheduled to be outside at The Red Barn in South Berwick, but rain kept them inside. All worked out in the end as the Red Barn has a lovely inside space. Betsy looked stunning, Justin, you are a lucky man. Wishing you many years of happiness together!

You’ve photographed some beautiful brides in your time, Tony, and Betsy is by far one of the loveliest. Grand job as always. (And Justin is awfully handsome too!)
